ATC is also capable of performing  test procedures created by Ford which is the Ford Cept 00.00-L-467. This specification requires an oscillating spray bar to uniformly distribute the 0.5% solution, which is applying the influence of chloride ions in the environment. This standard can be used to develop and qualify new corrosion products, develop new pretreatments and finishing processes. The standard specifies controlled conditions for equipment and procedures to allow the test to perform with a high degree of repeatability and reproducibility. A workday consists of 3 phases  from a 6 hour wet phase with an intermittent exposure of the 0.5% solution, a 2.5 hour controlled climate transition phase to  50°C and 70%RH and a 15.5 hour constant temp and humidity phase of 50°C and 70% RH followed by a 48 hour weekend phase that calls for a constant temp of 50°C and humidity of 70% RH. One full cycle for this standard is a weeks length in time. Completing all 4 phases will be one complete cycle.
